Early 1940's view of a Pennsy locomotive crossing North Union St. The track the locomotive is sitting on was used for passenger cars that traveled back & forth between Olean and Bradford. The buildings you see were located along what was Railroad Ave. Those buildings were razed in 1972 and the street abandon. What you would see there presently would be the parking lot for the Olean Center Mall.
